Hi Sam,
I have benefited greatly from using the SOAP Journal. Thank you for sharing that with me 2 1/2 years ago. I have been passing that on to others as well and am currently challenging some from my Bible Study to use the technique starting this new year. We are also going to follow the same reading plan, “Blue Letter Bible – Chronological Plan”.
I have added a “Y” to the SOAP Journal for Yesterday making it the SOAPY Journal. For Y you write down a God Story of what God did yesterday through applying the reading from yesterday. It has been a good challenge to look for God throughout the day and an encouragement to see all that He has done.

Praise God Sam! I’m pumped that you are diligently leading others to read through the Bible. I also really like your Y addition! Yes. The Bible becomes alive when we let it direct our lives. When we look back on how it is doing just that, it motivates us like nothing else I know.
