Psalm 81:8 – Hear, O my people, while I admonish you!
O Israel, if you would but listen to me!

Observations:

• Hear – sh’ma in Hebrew
• O my people / O Israel – God’s chosen people
• While I admonish – warn strongly, counsel in terms of behavior
• If you would but listen to me! – implying benefits if we would sh’ma
